About

Built in Malta, carefully.

aid.mt is a project of Aftermath Ltd, a Maltese company. We are building it step by step, and we will switch it on only when it is safe to do so.

Why we’re building it

The people nearby often don’t know.

In an emergency the first minutes matter. Often a nurse next door or a trained first-aider in the same building could help — but they don’t know they’re needed.

aid.mt is meant to connect those people, alongside 112 and never instead of it. It also helps you tell your family quickly, all at once.

We would rather launch late than launch something that isn’t safe.

100% of subscription profit goes to people who help others

Every euro of profit from aid.mt subscriptions goes to associations and NGOs in Malta that help others. Call-out fees go to the responder who came; subscriptions fund the service — and what’s left after running it goes to good causes.

Profit = subscription income minus the costs of running aid.mt. We’ll publish the organisations we support and the amounts every year.
The Aftermath ecosystem

One company, separate services.

aid.mt is part of a group of platforms run by Aftermath Ltd. Each one keeps its data separate.

Aftermath Ltd

A Maltese company that builds and runs local online platforms. aid.mt is one of them.

Aftaris AI — admin only

Aftaris is our in-house AI assistant. On aid.mt it helps only with non-critical admin and support, such as drafting replies for a person to check. It never makes medical decisions, never chooses responders and is not part of the emergency path.

medics.mt — a separate marketplace

medics.mt is a separate marketplace for booking medical services. It is not part of aid.mt’s emergency features, and your aid.mt medical profile is not shared with it.

How we work

Four rules we don’t bend.

Safety before launch

No real dispatch until legal counsel, a clinical lead, insurers and the relevant authorities have approved the model and a supervised pilot has passed.

Honest wording

No invented times, no claims of official affiliation and no “you are protected”. If something isn’t running, we say so on the status page.

Privacy by design

An optional, encrypted medical profile. Location only during alerts. Health data kept apart from everything else.

112 stays first

Call 112 is on every page and every screen, free, with no account needed.

Be ready before you need it.
